My War room

I share a house with a wife, two daughters and up until a little while ago, a son. This had relegated my wargaming to the garage. This is not a bad thing, however it can be cold and uncomfortable in winter and hot and unbearable in summer and on top of that the garage also becomes a dumping ground for stuff that is unwelcome in the house but not worth tossing out. When my son left for New Zealand, I had the opportunity to move my operations back into the house. His bedroom has now been invaded and converted into my War room. This is a photo essay of the current progress.
The room stripped down before the painting and carpeting
The wood paneling was old and scraped and marked.
I was planning on leaving it as it was then my wife
suggested I paint it dark brown.
Turned out to be a very good idea.
Starting to move furniture in
Different views of the room
I am planning on removing the white door and putting a two sided
display cabinet in the door way and just utilizing the other doorway.
The dartboard is in place! Looking toward the modelling corner.
Bookcase and computer desk
The modelling corner
I needed a paint station.

The general plan.
Not completely finished but there you go.
The set of plastic drawers on the right willl need to be moved to give
me more desktop space but for now this works.
Blood was spilled in the construction of the paint station.
I put a small drill bit through my thumb and out the other side.
A bit painful still. This is a week and a half later, healing nicely.
All I need is a bit of visual detail next.......
