Another Battle from Singapore

My mate sent me some pics of a game he had in Singapore recently with a bit of commentary

He is defending the short edge with Germans. US approaching from the bottom
US armour (blue) and infantry (green) pushed both flanks. Two German infantry
platoons were dug in (purple), with mortar and Nebelwervers in support.
German StuGs and a third infantry platoon were off table in immediate reserve.
Picture showing German objectives
US infantry advancing toward the German right flank.
Half of these teams were withered down by 8cm mortar shells.
The Germans had four PAK40s in ambush in the woods, (pink scribble above)
that wreaked havoc with the two US Sherman platoons.
Both the infantry and Shermans were blunted and stalled by aerial German steel.
First the bottom troop and then the top troop of Shermans were taken out by the PAKs,
for the loss of only one gun. The Germans were lucky!
